R scripts for: Selection and phenotypic characterization of culturable heavy metal-tolerant bacteria from contaminated mining soils (Sidi Kambar, Algeria)

R scripts used for the statistical analyses reported in "Selection and phenotypic characterization of culturable heavy metal-tolerant bacteria from contaminated mining soils: exploratory links with soil physicochemical properties" (Sidi Kambar mining site, Algeria). Includes: (1) one-way ANOVA comparing bacterial counts (CFU g⁻¹) among sampling zones, with Shapiro-Wilk and Levene's tests; (2) Pearson correlation analysis between soil physicochemical/heavy-metal variables and bacteriological indicators, with FDR (Benjamini-Hochberg) correction; (3) exploratory principal component analysis (PCA) with a permutation test on the first eigenvalue.
