Rehabilitation and retrofitting can produce effects on structures which may not always be entirely predicted. Structural health monitoring can be of good use during bridge works, which may have to be carried without traffic interruption. In this work a technique based on cluster analysis is used to distinguish structural states before, during and after rehabilitation works on suspended bridge in Mozambique. This approach allows to assess the influence of rehabilitation works on structural behaviour and safety, in real time and under regular traffic loading. The efficiency of the proposed methodology is verified using the referred case study data.
