Recording the person-gender-number paradigms for nominative, accusative, and genitive in the Tshwa variety (Tchoe) of Mabuo (the Pedi clan). This bundle includes unannotated audio recordings. Lee is the linguist on the project and has worked with different San communities in Namibia and Botswana since 2011. Lerothodi acted as the main translator for the project, translating to and from English and Setswana. Gothusamang is a male story teller from the Tchoe community at Mabuo - south of Serowe. He also provided recordings on nominal morphology.
The community at Mabuo live in close contact with groups they refer to as "Kgalagadi tcoa" - who are said to be originally from the Kweneng district and have moved eastwards and resettled at Mabuo.
