RefractivePlanning.Tools is a freely accessible, browser-based platform of 34 interactive applications for refractive, cataract and paediatric ophthalmic surgery, developed by a practising refractive surgeon and refined in daily clinical use in Europe and Africa.

The suite comprises nine clinical sections: Fundamentals; Corneal Refractive Planning (residual stromal bed, tissue-saving ablation, cap–stroma trade-off, CLEAR nomograms and planner, corneal biomechanics simulation); FemtoLASIK (hinge position, suction ring sizing); Astigmatism Management (Castrop LRI nomogram, arc length, residual astigmatism steering); Cataract & IOL Surgery (capsulotomy centration, toric axis, premium IOL decision support, operative reports, post-LASIK IOL calculation, counselling training); Nomogram Builders (surgeon-specific laser and IOL outcome nomograms); Patient Counseling & Simulation (decision support, glare/halo and ICL light-ring simulators, phakic IOL planning and comparison, cost calculators, a six-language AI counselling chatbot with voice interaction); Paediatrics & Strabismus (extraocular muscle and strabismus surgery simulator, paediatric strabismus and amblyopia decision helper, smartphone-based red-reflex leucocoria screening, retinoblastoma management pathways); and Informed Consent (interactive LASIK, ICL and cataract consent instruments).

All applications run entirely in the browser as self-contained HTML5/JavaScript documents, require no installation or registration, and are intended for education, training and planning support. They do not replace official manufacturer calculators or clinical judgment; final responsibility for any treatment decision rests with the treating physician.
