This project investigates how religious identity fusion relates to support for lawful activism and violent political action among young men in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Using cross-sectional survey data (N = 1,579), we test integrated threat theory pathways linking fusion to activism and violence via perceived intergroup threat, and examine whether perceived social support buffers the threat–violence link. The preregistration specifies all primary hypotheses, variables, and analysis decisions (including psychometrics, regression, mediation, moderation, and SEM), with additional analyses clearly marked as exploratory.
