Replication Data for: More cash, limited gain: Welfare effects of oil palm plantations in Liberia

This dataset presents household- and village-level survey data collected in Liberia in 2019, covering 1,934 households across 72 villages in rural, remote areas of the country. The survey was designed to capture detailed microeconomic information on rural livelihoods, including household income, expenditure, and asset ownership, alongside village-level characteristics relevant to local economic conditions and infrastructure. The dataset is intended to support research on rural poverty, household welfare, and microeconomic dynamics in low-income, geographically remote settings. It provides a rich basis for analyzing income diversification, consumption patterns, asset accumulation, and disparities between households and communities in areas with limited market access and infrastructure.
