This is a replication dataset for the published article: "The reliability, validity and factorial structure of the Swahili version of the 7‑item generalized anxiety disorder scale (GAD‑7) among adults living with HIV from Kilifi, Kenya"

This dataset contains data collected from 450 adults living with HIV from Kilifi. The purpose was toinvestigate the reliability (internal consistency & test-retest), validity (convergent & discriminant), and factor structure and invariance of an GAD-7 Swahili version.

Data Access: Restricted The collected data involves individuals living with HIV, a highly vulnarable and stigmatized group. Therefore the data may not be openly available because of the terms for data sharing included in the consent forms. Anyone interested in accessing the data is free to write to the Data Governance Committee of the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme who will review the application and advise as appropriate, and ensure that uses are compatiblewith the consent obtained from participants for data collection.
