Report Appendix: Family Caregiving of Older Persons in Namibia

The appendix provides supporting contextual and sample data for the report Family Caregiving of Older Persons in Namibia. It offers profiles of the study's five fieldwork sites: Khomasdal and Samora Machel in the urban Khomas region, Windhoek Rural, and the remote rural constituencies of Okatana and Mashare in the Oshana and Kavango East regions. The appendix also presents an overview of the study sample: 80 older person households and 163 participants (83 older persons and 80 caregivers) across the five sites, disaggregated by gender, age, and level of care need, alongside the cash transfers received by older person households, principally the Old Age Grant.
