Riddles Kurgoede Documentation of Goemai

Riddle-telling in the Goemai culture. Containing a short introduction and one illustration of riddles. This project documents the Goemai language (Afroasiatic, Chadic, West Chadic A, Angas-Goemai, Southern branch; spoken in Central Nigeria) in the form of a comprehensive reference grammar, a dictionary and an annotated corpus of natural texts. A. speaks a short introduction into the topic (in D04AKurgoede1), and both A. and N. perform the riddle-telling, with A. asking the riddles and N. answering (O04ANKurgoede2).
