Susan gives a description of the ECOM clips (Bohnemeyer & Caelen 1999). This is a set of video clips of moving geometrical shapes. They are meant to find out information about how motion events are encoded. However, this did not work with Susan. She made up stories of what happened and why, rather than sticking to the rather abstract description of the motion that the clips are meant to elicit. After this, Susan describes several motion events that are demonstrated by Saskia using duplo materials.
