
This record contains the manuscript and/or supporting materials for the study titled “Self-medication Among Urban Residents in Bosaso, Puntland, Somalia: A Cross-Sectional Study of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices.” The study assessed the prevalence, knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to self-medication among urban residents in Bosaso, Puntland, Somalia. A cross-sectional design was used to collect data from community residents, focusing on patterns of medicine use without professional prescription, common reasons for self-medication, sources of medicines, and factors associated with this practice. The findings provide evidence that may support public health education, safer medicine use, and policy planning to reduce inappropriate self-medication in the community.
