Improving Thermal Comfort Performance of Mediterranean Higher-Education Buildings via PCM-Integrated Envelope Retrofit: A Case Study of the AASTMT Campus, Marsa Matruh, Egypt.
The dataset contains the DesignBuilder building simulation model and associated supporting files used to evaluate the thermal performance of RT25HC phase change material (PCM) integrated into the building envelope of a higher-education building located at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), El-Alamein Campus, Egypt.
The simulations were performed using DesignBuilder Version 7.0.2.006 with the EnergyPlus Version 9.4 simulation engine under free-running conditions. The dataset supports the analyses presented in the manuscript, including the base case and all retrofit scenarios investigated.
