Social Epidemiology of Undocumented Ebola Virus Transmission in Liberia_Data

This dataset contains de-identified data collected from human participants. Before deposition in the public research repository, direct personal identifiers were removed from the dataset, and no names, telephone numbers, residential addresses, or other direct identifiers are included. The dataset was reviewed to minimize the risk of participant re-identification through combinations of demographic, geographic, clinical, exposure-related, and household characteristics.

The deposited dataset contains only variables considered necessary for secondary research and does not include information that directly identifies individual participants. Participant confidentiality was maintained throughout data collection, analysis, and preparation of the dataset for public sharing.

The study was approved by the University of Liberia-Pacific Institute for Research Institutional Review Board (IRB No. 2009-232), and all participants provided informed consent before participation. The publicly available dataset is intended to support responsible secondary research while protecting the privacy and confidentiality of study participants in accordance with ethical requirements.
