This repository contains software and data products related to the article "Capacity Building Enables Unique Near-Fault Observations of the destructive 2025 Mw 7.7 Myanmar Earthquake" by Ssu-Ting Lai et al., submitted to ESSD-Earth System Science Data. The repository containts:
version_zenodo.ipynb: jupyter notebook (python) used to download raw data of the mainshock from station GE.NPW, and processing steps applied to estimate the engineering parameters of interst;
version_zenodo.html: html version of version_zenodo.ipynb;
processed_NS.txt, processed_EW.txt, and processed_Z.txt: processed waveforms (high pass filtered) of the mainshock, considering the three components of motion north-south (NS), east-west (EW) and vertical (Z); two columns file in ascii format, including one line of header.
SA_NS.txt, SA_EW.txt, SA_Z.txt: response spectra in acceleration computed for the mainshock, considering the three components of motion; two columns file in ascii format, with one line header.
