Soundscape Baselines Project sample datasets

These datasets are part of the publication Bioacoustic baselines for intact forest, Burivalova et al., 2026, Global Change Biology (in press). They include:

1) SBP-dataset-PeruBirdNET2026.csv: BirdNET detections of bird species predicted at 6 sites during ~6 months (15 May 2023 to 25 October 2023) at Manu Biological Station, Peru. Please see the publication for details on the data, site coordinates, and the process of expert verification of BirdNET detections.

2) SBP-data-PMN-2026.zip: acoustic index (Power Minus Noise, PMN) values for 5 days at each of the 6 sites in 6 countries. Please see publication for details.

3) SBP-dataset-GabonBirdNET2026.csv: BirdNET detections of bird species predicted at 6 sites during ~3 months (12 October 2022 to 19 Jan 2023) at Ibola Djana Ba Massaha, Gabon. Please see the publication for details on the data, and the process of expert verification of BirdNET detections.

4) SBP-dataset-Indices_Gabon2026.csv: acoustic index values for case study from Gabon of managed (forestry) and baseline sites during the dry season. Please see publication for details.
