This dataset contains layers for electricity distribution infrastructure (both substations and cables (power lines)) as well as commercial food infrastructure (supermarkets), as taken from OpenStreetMap in 2025. This dataset was created as part of a research project on spatial inequality in Water-Energy-Food (WEF) security in South Africa, the implications on public health and the impacts of climate change.
