Storybook: Integrating intersectional thinking into research on nature-based solutions in African cities

These four stories illustrate how integrating intersectional thinking into research on nature-based solutions and climate-resilient development in African cities helps us better understand how different people, living in the same settlement, during the same flood event, have four very different experiences of risk and resilience. The stories also examine the limits of even well-intentioned interventions, and suggest actions you can take to better understand intersectionality and climate risk in your city. The storybook was produced with insights from the Tuwe Pamoja project.
