Supplementary Data for Socioeconomic and Climate Uncertainty Shape Solar Electricity Costs and Storage Needs across West Africa

This record contains five supplementary datasets supporting the study “Socioeconomic and climate uncertainty shape solar electricity costs and storage needs across West Africa.” The data are provided to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the study results. Supplementary Data 1 contains district-level levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) estimates across all scenarios considered in the study. Supplementary Data 2 reports the results of the photovoltaic (PV) degradation sensitivity analysis. Supplementary Data 3 provides the representative compromise solutions selected from the non-dominated solution sets generated by the multi-objective optimization. Supplementary Data 4 contains district-level cost components used in the techno-economic analysis, including capital, labor, transmission, and land costs. Supplementary Data 5 provides annual electricity demand projections for 2024–2050, together with the corresponding 95% confidence intervals.These datasets correspond to the analyses and results reported in the associated manuscript and Supplementary Information.
