This report reviews Zimbabwe’s policy landscape for Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) through a participatory, systems-oriented lens grounded in the lived experiences of small-scale farmers. Drawing on Participatory Action Research involving interviews, storytelling and community analysis, it identifies key gaps between policy intent and practice, and proposes actionable recommendations shaped by farmer knowledge and priorities.Consent has been given to publish the project portrait photos and images.The project has ethical approval (#049537).
