TANZANIA ELECTRIFICATION INVESTMENT ASSESMENT PROSPECT

This presentation constitutes the outcome of a three-weeks capacity building activity on GEP-OnSSET as part of the 2024 Energy Modelling Platform - Global workshop. The authors collected input data, set parameters, calibrated the model, and run electrification investment scenarios for Tanzania in order to explore pathways leading to the achievement of electrification targets. The results of this analysis are not conclusive, but rather the output of experimentation with the model and thus only indicative.
