This is a video recording of speakers of Ikpána describing the names and usages of plants growing in the Logba Traditional Area. Tape 4 is a continuation of the recording of Kudzo Yeboah from Tape 3. He shows several plants growing in the area and describes their names and usages. The recordings were made on 18 November, 2009 on the path from Logba Klikpo to Logba Alakpeti, Ghana using a Sony DCR-HC96 video camera with miniDV tapes. Mawuli Kormla Kahia interpreted and acted as research assistant, while Lydia Green made the recordings and acted as primary investigator. The recordings are in the Ikpána language and show the speaker standing next to the plant as it is being described. At the very end of the tape, the senior advisor of the Logba Traditional Area is recorded giving permission for the essay and video recordings from the project to be made available to people (dependent on the advice of the paramount ruler).
