Teacher self-efficacy in coding and robotics

This dataset contains qualitative data from two teacher professional development interventions on coding and robotics in the South African Foundation Phase (Grade R-3), collected as part of a study developing a teacher self-efficacy framework for this subject area. It includes pre- and post-intervention open-ended surveys from a two-day, in-person Baseline Assessment Intervention (teachers across five different provinces); a post-implementation survey from a WhatsApp-based chatbot intervention; a semi-structured interview with a Foundation Phase teacher from the chatbot intervention; and a semi-structured interview with the course coordinator overseeing both interventions.
