Terminologie des TIC en AGNI ICT terminology in AGNI : Analysis of the neologism formation process

Traduire les termes dans le domaine des nouvelles technologies, c’est rendre les concepts dans une langue autre que celles des inventeurs. Cette entreprise ne semble pas aisée lorsqu’il s’agit de traduire ces termes dans une langue africaine. Le but de cette communication est de résoudre la difficulté à laquelle le peuple agni (Côte d’Ivoire et Ghana) est désormais confronté s’agissant de la terminologie dans les domaines de la communication et de l’information. Il est question de propositions néologiques assorties de traductions littérales. Ces néologismes reposent sur une recherche linguistique amenant à déceler les mots appropriés, compris et acceptés par les locuteurs agni. Les items proposés sont des mots de la langue auxquels nous avons donné une nouvelle dimension et que l’on introduit dans un type de discours nouveau, celui de la communication et de l’information.Ce travail vise à démontrer qu’il est possible de nommer les réalités technologiques telles que les TIC dans les langues africaines. The survival of the agni language depends essentially on its ability to create new ways of adapting to modern realities. The aim of this work is to help the agnilanguage succeed in transmitting scientific and technological culture. This study, divided into three parts, combines descriptive morphology, terminology and, sociolinguistics. The first section of the work is devoted to the presentation of the Agni language and country. It gives an overview of that language and the Agni country in terms of geography, history and socio-political organization. The second part of the study was devoted to the creation of neologisms to name scientific and technological terms. The main objective of  erminology activity is to enable the most comprehensible expression of ICT concepts. It responds to a need to communicate information in order to ensure better understanding of messages. In order to translate scientific reality in all its rigour, we have studied the structure of learned words in French in order to draw inspiration from them. This is necessary to give the words created a scientific character, namely the clarity and precision required by specialised vocabularies. Based on the creation processes existing in the language and the structure of the scientific vocabulary, several new entries have been proposed to translate certain concepts in the most varied fieldsof ICT.
