The Global Groundwater Monitoring Network (GGMN) is a participative, web-based network of networks, set up to improve quality and accessibility of groundwater monitoring data and information and subsequently our knowledge on the state of groundwater resources. GGMN is implemented by IGRAC and supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) other global and regional partners. Organisations contributing with groundwater monitoring data are: Australia - Bureau of Meteorology; Austria - Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management; Belgium - Subsurface Flanders Database; Brazil - Geological Survey of Brazil; Canada - Geological Survey Canada; Chile - General Directorate of Water; Czech Republic - Czech Hydrometeorological Institute; Denmark - National Geological Surveys for Denmark and Greenland (GEUS); France - French Geological Survey (BRGM); Gambia - Department of Water Resources; Germany - Hessian State Office for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology / Hydrological Service Bavaria / North Rhine-Westphalia; India - Central Ground Water Board; Ireland - Environmental Protection Agency; Israel - Hydrological Service; Lesotho - Ministry of Natural Resources, Department of Water Affairs; Mexico - National Water Commission; Namibia - Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, Department of Water Affairs and Forestry, Division Water Environment; Nepal - Ministry of Water Resources, Energy and Irrigation; Netherlands - Geological Service of the Netherlands; New Zealand - GNS Science Te Pū Ao; Norway - Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE); Portugal - National Water Resources Information System (SNIRH); Rwanda - Rwanda Water and Forestry Authority (RWFA); Sierra Leone - Ministry of Water Resources; South Africa - Western Cape University; Spain - Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge; Sweden - Geological Survey of Sweden; Switzerland - Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN); Taiwan - Water Resources Agency (MOEA); Uganda - Ministry of Water & Environment; United Kingdom - British Geological Survey; United States - National Ground-Water Monitoring Network.
