This journal entry examines the financial intelligence gap sitting on top of Kenya's advanced mobile money ecosystem. Despite over 58 million M-Pesa users and a thriving SACCO sector, no AI layer exists to help individuals, traders, and small businesses make sense of their own financial data. Senti AI addresses this directly — a domain-specific financial intelligence system built to calculate, analyse, plan, and execute financial work across four modes: Advisor, Analyst, Planner, and Operator. Delivered via WhatsApp, USSD, and SMS, and governed entirely by Kenyan law, Senti AI represents the first step toward a foundation model trained from scratch on African financial data.
