A short chain tale in Korandje about a little cat's plans and ambitions, recorded in Tabelbala from Zorah Assa (Adda?) by Dominique Champault, ca. 1950-1955. Transcribed, glossed, and translated by Lameen Souag in 2014-2022. See archives.crem-cnrs.fr for recording metadata. This tale was widely known in Tabelbala, and versions of it are attested further afield across the range of the Ait Atta. The ending, however, varies according to the teller's taste. Sa fin est très variable ; dans cette version-ci, elle voudrait souligner (peut-être naïvement) l'importance de ne pas se limiter à des objectifs matérialistes.
