Dataset Summary This dataset supports a community-based, cross-sectional study conducted in Oyo and Lagos States, Nigeria, examining the association between LLIN (long-lasting insecticidal net) source and consistent use among 1,072 mothers/caregivers of under-five children (536 per state). Data were collected via multistage sampling (6 wards, 90 households per ward) in 2024. The dataset includes variables: ID, State (Oyo, Lagos), Ward, LLIN_Source (Government, Market, NGO), Consistent_Use (Yes/No), Age_Group, Tribe, Religion, Marital_Status, Type_Marriage, Education, Occupation, Household_Size, Socioeconomic_Status, and sampling weights. Analysis in STATA 17.0 used the svy suite for complex survey data, with multivariable logistic regression adjusting for confounders (e.g., maternal age, education). Missingness was <0.5%. Ethical approval was obtained from the University of Lagos Ethics Committee. Keywords: LLIN, Nigeria, Oyo, Lagos, public health, logistic regression, survey data.
