This is a systematic review and meta-analysis of the prevalence of hepatitis B viral infection in Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria. The study's expected outcome is the pooled prevalence of hepatitis B in Nasarawa State with a 95% Confidence Interval for the estimate. The study also carries out a subgroup analysis of the prevalence to understand which of the Senatorial Districts among the three has the highest burden of the disease. Data extraction from selected studies was based on the PRISMA framework, and results are explained based on the key outcomes of the study.
