This study examines how AI can be deployed—within ride-hailing smartphone apps and
linked vehicle IoT—to reduce risks and improve safety for minors and females in Egypt.
It combines technical designs, ethical constraints, policy and governance
recommendations, and a proposed international consensus (standards + verification)
framework. The paper proposes novel AI features across five pillars: (1) app-level
safety, (2) in-vehicle IoT & hardware integration, (3) AI-driven driver behavior
monitoring, (4) emergency response automation, and (5) predictive risk modelling. The
recommendations are practical, measurable, and tuned to Egyptian regulatory context
