Traditional marriage of Likpe Mate 20130518-000_marriage Description and Documentation of Sekpele

On the third day of marriage, the bride follow a procession of the women of the community to perform a rite of fetching water for the groom. After this ceremony, the women follow the groom to seek for the bride in the home of the the bride's father. This rite aims to seek for childbirth for the couple.
