This paper examines how artificial intelligence (AI) can support the transformation of Egyptian agriculture by enhancing resilience, sustainability, and inclusivity. It explores AI applications such as precision irrigation, crop monitoring, disease detection, and market intelligence, assessing their potential impacts on productivity, water efficiency, farmer livelihoods, and market access. While the findings highlight AI’s promise for improving yields and rural incomes, the study also points to challenges including limited digital literacy, infrastructure gaps, and unequal access to technology. The paper calls for co-created solutions among policymakers, developers, and farmers to build an inclusive agricultural innovation ecosystem in Egypt.
