This dataset contains quantified metal concentrations in soils and commonly consumed vegetables from the two residential areas (Chowa and Mine) around the Pb-Zn legacy mine in Kabwe District of Zambia. The data were generated to assess potential human exposure through soil-plant-human pathway in urban agricultural settings. This dataset supports the assessment of contamination levels, soil-to-plant transfer, and potential human health risks associated with the consumption of locally grown vegetables in mining-impacted urban environments.
