The chapter interrogated sexism and misogyny which is displayed against women on Facebook in Zimbabwe. The hostile engagements tend to close space for women on such key social media platforms which is vital for building social networks, for business engagements and for learning. This exclusion of women for fear of being harassed leads to further marginalization of women in politics, business and education. A case study of China is submitted as a country that monitors social media in both ex -ante and ex- post. The chapter uses ambivalent sexism theory, decolonial theory, deconstruction theory and postcolonial theory. The chapter postulates the use of Artificial Intelligence to control the profanity that is directed against women and people of other sexualities. The chapter also reviewed the international, continental and regional framework that supports gender equality.
