The incorporation of big data analytics in education has transformed how secondary schools handle teaching, learning, and assessing performance. This thorough evaluation assessed the utilization of big data for academic excellence at secondary school level of education. Utilizing recent research and practical examples, the article highlights the advantages of utilizing big data for enhancing results, including adaptive learning, predictive analytics, and real-time feedback systems. Nevertheless, obstacles remain, such as worries about data privacy, limited resources, and inequalities in access to technology. This review also delved into effective uses of big data in various educational settings, showing its ability to bring about significant change when used correctly. The paper concluded that the potential of big data in transforming secondary education lies in its ability to improve academic performance through personalized learning, predictive analytics, and real-time feedback systems. Suggestions for next steps involve utilizing AI, promoting data literacy among teachers, setting up strong policy frameworks, and guaranteeing fair access to digital resources. By tackling these obstacles, those involved can unleash the complete capabilities of big data to improve secondary education and enable students to accomplish academic achievements.
