Utilization of Big Data for Academic Excellence at Secondary School Level of Education in Nigeria: A Qualitative Review

Nevertheless, obstacles remain, such as worries about data privacy, limited resources, and inequalities in access to technology. This review also delved into effective uses of big data in various educational settings, showing its ability to bring about significant change when used correctly. The paper concluded that the potential of big data in transforming secondary education lies in its ability to improve academic performance through personalized learning, predictive analytics, and real-time feedback systems. Suggestions for next steps involve utilizing AI, promoting data literacy among teachers, setting up strong policy frameworks, and guaranteeing fair access to digital resources.
