Inside his house, Mr Ayyano is trying to tie the mouth of a pair of oxen that he is going to use to weed a plot of land with young maize plants. His wife explains why he needed to do this---so that the pair of oxen would not eat the maize plants . Outside, Mr Ayyano and his wife Ms. Abbaynesh attach the plough to the oxen with some difficulty. At the same time, they exchange various utterances with research assistants Asmelash Michael and Abboye Alade. The video recording is done by Azeb Amha using a Panasonic HC-W580 video camera.
