Weekly Milkfish (Chanos chanos) Consumer Price Dataset for Pati Regency, Central Java, Indonesia (2020–2026)

A continuous, annotated weekly consumer-price series for milkfish (Chanos chanos) in Pati Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, spanning ISO week 1/2020 to ISO week 16/2026 (329 weekly observations). The series is constructed with a hybrid pipeline: Denton–Cholette temporal disaggregation converts 2020–2022 monthly data to weekly estimates; a Bidirectional LSTM reconstructs the fully unobserved 2023 year; and 2024–2026 are directly observed SP2KP weekly prices. Every observation is labelled with its construction method (source), season, contextual events, and weekly trend. The deposit includes the dataset (CSV), the end-to-end construction notebook, and a feature-ablation notebook diagnosing the out-of-sample weekly-direction limitation. The dataset is intended for weekly price-level estimation, seasonal-pattern analysis, supply-chain modelling, and food-security research; it should not be used for week-to-week directional forecasting, and the reconstructed 2023 segment should be excluded (via the source column) from Eid-specific event studies.
