These tables were created from NASA's Earth Exchange Global Daily Downscaled Projections (NEX-GDDP-CMIP6) dataset and the open-source nex-gddp-sa-tools developed by SAEON. Bias-corrected daily precipitation, maximum, and minimum temperature data from multiple CMIP6 global climate models were analysed for the historical period (1950–2014) and future scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, SSP5-8.5). A suite of WMO-ETCCDI climate indices—including CDD, CWD, R10mm, R20mm, Rx1day, Rx5day, SPI, FD, WSDI, and CSDI—was computed using the xclim library for four time slices (baseline 1995–2014; near-, mid-, and far-term futures). Outputs were by municipal boundaries to visualise ensemble means within the local municipalities. All data handling, processing, and analysis were conducted using the open-source nex-gddp-sa-tools software package, developed by SAEON and publicly available on GitHub: SAEON/nex-gddp-sa-tools.
