The extracted dataset covers all 53 African Union member states for the year 2026, disaggregated by: country, year, single year of age (15–35), sex (female/male), labour market status (employed/unemployed/inactive/students), educational attainment (no education, primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, tertiary), and economic sector (Agriculture, Industry, Services).

The four underlying data files used in this study have been deposited in a publicly accessible repository and are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC-BY 4.0):
