For the past 9 months, we have been hard at work on revamping Lanfrica. As we wrap up, we wanted to share a sneak peek on some things to expect.

Changes coming to the Lanfrica frontend

We have some exciting things coming to the frontend:

A cleaner discovery interface: our previous records platform, with the filter by the side, takes up a lot of space. The revamp features the filters at the top, making the experience of discovery a lot cleaner. With unique grid patterns, colorful categorization of domains, among others, we give a visual flair to our records and the overall discovery experience.
 

Our platform features a unique, beautiful dark mode throughout, that immerses you in the Lanfrica vibe 😊.

Improved community engagement: the spirit of Lanfrica is community-based, and we strive to give users more control over what you can do at Lanfrica. The revamp has that: users can now sign up/sign in. When you do, you have a delicate dashboard, giving you more control over what you can do at Lanfrica. You can link records, search, and explore the wealth of records on Lanfrica. There will be many more useful features coming in the future for our users.

Improved record-linking: the process of linking a record is more visually appealing, while being fast and straightforward. We remain committed to making this even easier, simpler, and faster. With help icons next to each field, you will always understand what to fill in each field.

Documentation page: we will be releasing a documentation page. This will include detailed guides on how to link records and navigate the dashboard. It will also include documentation on the WebHarvester for partner repositories.
