Frank tells the story of how Andamrɨ pond just to the south of Akapmɨŋgɨ became bewitched. One day a woman went down to the pond. A big black snake then killed her by slithering up her vagina and exiting out her mouth. The pond has been a wicked place ever since, and is now inhabited by evil cassowary-legged dwarves who bewitch unwitting passersby with their songs, and then cannibalize them.
