CESM2 simulations supporting projections of African springtime dust under Fix2023 and SSP2-com emission scenarios

This dataset contains CESM2.1.3 simulations used to investigate future changes in African springtime dust under contrasting anthropogenic emission pathways. It comprises three simulation sets: an updated historical experiment for 2000–2019; a Fix2023 experiment for 2020–2100, in which anthropogenic emissions are held fixed at their 2023 levels; and an SSP2-com experiment for 2020–2100, following a newly developed China-aligned global emissions pathway consistent with the Paris Agreement’s 2°C target. Each experiment set includes three ensemble members.
