This dataset contains the processed, analysis-ready and derived data supporting the manuscript “Unequal humid-heat exposure shows distinct environmental associations across sub-Saharan African slums.” The study integrates humid-heat exposure, gridded slum population estimates and remotely sensed environmental indicators across sub-Saharan Africa at the third-order administrative-unit (ADM3) level. The deposited materials support the analyses of extreme humid-heat exposure (EHE), environmental deprivation, spatial exposure–deprivation coupling, regional risk configurations, population-weighted deprivation gradients, regional component associations and Shapley decomposition. The archive also includes derived tables and validation outputs used to reproduce the main and sensitivity analyses reported in the manuscript. Raw third-party climate, population, building, administrative-boundary and satellite products are not redistributed and should be obtained from their original providers as cited in the manuscript. Analysis and visualization code is available separately through the associated GitHub repository.
