On 10th April 2025, the second part of the webinar "Digital Earth Africa: Agriculture and Food Security" was moderated by Felipe Carlos, with Kenneth Mubea presenting key topics. The session was divided into two parts: an introduction to GEO Knowledge Hub and how to access materials from the first webinar and Digital Earth Africa applications and tools. Digital Earth Africa: Applications and Tools Kenneth Mubea, Capacity Development Lead at Digital Earth Africa, continued the session by presenting valuable applications of Digital Earth Africa for agriculture and food security. He demonstrated how machine learning and satellite data could be used to monitor crop conditions, identify irrigated cropland, and track vegetation anomalies.
