## Study Areas
### Study 1 — Atiwa West Mining District (MODFLOW Plume Modelling)
A contaminant plume evolution study using MODFLOW groundwater flow modelling across a 56-well network (44 domestic wells + 12 monitoring boreholes) in a mining-dominated catchment in Ghana. The model simulates groundwater abstraction and contaminant transport over 3-year time steps (365, 730, 1095 days) to assess plume migration risk to domestic water sources.
### Study 2 — Kintampo South District (Hydrogeochemistry)
Hydrogeochemical characterisation of 22 groundwater samples from the Voltaian sedimentary aquifer system in the Bono East Region. The study applies Piper diagram classification, multivariate statistics (PCA, cluster analysis, Spearman correlation), PHREEQC mineral saturation modelling, and irrigation quality indices (SAR, Na%, MR, Wilcox).
