Knowledge, Project Methodology, Bidders' Past Experience and Construction Project Performance among Municipal and District Assemblies in the Volta Region of Ghana (N = 320)

This record contains a survey dataset of 320 cases and 101 variables constructed for a study examining the nexus of knowledge, project methodology, bidders' past experience, and construction project performance among Municipal and District Assemblies in the Volta Region of Ghana. The data mirror the structure of the accompanying survey instrument: sixteen demographic and professional profile variables (RP3 to RP18) and 84 substantive items measured on a seven-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 7 = Strongly Agree). The substantive items operationalise four reflective-reflective second-order constructs, each with three seven-item dimensions: Bidders' Past Experience (technical experience and competence; financial and resource capacity; project track record and reputation); Project Methodology (planning and design methodology; procurement and contract strategy; monitoring, evaluation and control); Knowledge (technical knowledge; experiential knowledge; knowledge sharing and transfer); and Construction Project Performance (time, cost, and quality performance).
