Buu of the Ji-boe group, Buu ISO 639-3: boe, mund1328 is a Yemne-Kimbi speech variety spoken in Lower Fungom in Fungom Subdivision in Menchum Division of the North West Region.  Buu of the Ji-boe group ( Buu, Mundabli and Mufu) has affixes while Mufu and Mundabli have lost all their affixes. But the affixes surfaces as concords in Noun Phrases which now help in the classification of the various nouns into noun classes. The word structures are found with affixes such as prefixes, suffixes, circumfixes and zero prefixes. The assigning of prefixes by the two speakers is heterogenous in certain words:  “pus” [gbɪ̂kɛ́ / bə́gbɪ̂]{Buu_KEM-1} and “pus” [kə́gbɪ̂ / kə́gbɪ́tə́]{Buu_KCY-2}. The male speaker has a zero-prefix but has a suffix for the singular while it has a prefix for plural “pus”. Then the female speaker has a prefix for the singular and circumfixation for the plural. Though “pus” is a liquid and would not number be counted, but noticed that it fall within the countable nouns in Buu.
