Lower Fungom Mashi 500 Nouns Wordlist

Mashi (Naki) (ISO 639-3: mff, mffy1238;) language is a Yemne-Kimbi (Good et al 2011) speech variety spoken in Lower Fungom in Menchum Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. The word list was collected from two female speakers of Mashi residing in Yaounde since there was no access to the native village of Mashi as the result of the crisis in the North West and South West Region.  There is individual-based variation among the two speakers at level of the tones, prefix, lexical root, even concord nuances. The noun class disparities is revealed by the matrix (mx) column determined through noun phrases.  Mashi is famous for its ablaut and mutation in nouns, verbs, and adjectives such numerals and others.
