Reproductive coercion and abuse (RCA) refers to manipulative behaviors that interfere with the reproductive choices of the woman. The male partner is often the main perpetrator of RCA, while in-laws and family members have been implicated as the perpetrators in some settings. While the concept of RCA is new, several studies have been conducted in the USA and developed countries to explore RCA. This scooping study will be conducted to map out evidence on the magnitude and response to RCA in sub-Saharan Africa
