In chapter 3, the noun morphology of Kwom has been discussed. Definiteness, gender, number and case are indicated by independent morphemes. Kwom distinguishes three grammatical genders; masculine /hàr/ ‘he’, feminine /hàp/ ‘she’ and neuter /hàn/ ‘it’ gender. In Kwom definiteness and indefiniteness distinguish gender. There are also nouns that distinguish gender lexically. Nouns distinguish singular and plural forms. Singular nouns are morphologically unmarked whereas plural nouns are morphologically marked.
