These are panoramas of Elands Bay Rock Shelter, Cederberg, South Africa. Panoramas, used to create a panorama tour, are a series of wide-angle photographs captured from different viewpoints within a site, which are digitally stitched and linked together to enable immersive, navigable 360-degree exploration. Elands Bay Rock Shelter is an archaeological site known for its rock art and stratified deposits documenting human occupation. The shelter contains painted imagery depicting animals and human figures, interpreted as part of symbolic and ritual practices. Excavations have yielded stone tools, faunal remains, and evidence of environmental change, contributing to studies of subsistence strategies and cognitive development in prehistoric southern Africa.

Elandsbay Rock Shelter is part of the listed UNESCO World Heritage Site, 'The Emergence of Modern Human Behaviour: The Pleistocene Occupation Sites of South Africa'.

The Zamani Project seeks to increase awareness and knowledge of tangible cultural heritage in Africa and internationally by creating metrically accurate digital representations of historical sites. Digital spatial data of cultural heritage sites can be used for research and education, for restoration and conservation, and as a record for future generations. The Zamani Project operates as a non-profit organisation within the University of Cape Town.
